Dear Mr Chadwick

Please accept this letter as notice of my resignation. As per my employment contract, I am giving two weeks’ notice and will be leaving on 23 November 2014.

While I have for the most part been satisfied with my time at the Royal Princess Hospital, I feel that the situation has become somewhat untenable and it is now time to move on. However, I leave feeling satisfied with the standards of my work and behaviour, and would like to thank you for the learning and opportunities that I enjoyed during my time here.

I have ensured that all my projects will be complete by 23 November and will endeavour to make the handover as smooth as possible. If there is anything else I can do, please let me know.
