We are a medium-sized consultancy company that provides building surveying and development consulting services for local businesses.

We are seeking a Building Surveyor to oversee projects ranging from small-scale domestic to large commercial projects around Queensland.

In this role you will be responsible for assessing building plans, inspection processes and issuing building permits.

The successful applicant will be a team player with knowledge of current acts and regulations and will report straight to the director. You must have a recognised surveying certification and a full driver’s licence.

Applicants must possess:

• Competence in all aspects of building surveying, including construction standards, building law, and code development and legislation
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Good communication skills
