Director of Nursing (DON) – Ref: 390AR

Coburg Hospital provides exceptional quality health care in a friendly setting. We are looking for a self-driven and experience DON to oversee the day-to-day management of our mental health ward and provide passionate leadership for their residents and staff as a part of a senior management team. The role of the DON is to work towards achieving the professional and organisational goals of the hospital and provide a high level of dynamic leadership and clinical skill.

Applicants must:

• Have NSW Registered Nurse registration
• Have an understanding of mental health accreditation processes
• Have a minimum of three years working in the mental health environment
• Have previously worked as a DON or DDON
• Have previously worked as a DON or DDON
• Have strong people skills
• Want to be part of a happy and harmonious team
• Place importance on fostering good resident and family relationships
• Have a good understanding of continuous improvement, OHS and risk management
