With 15 years in the aviation industry, I am a passionate and experienced pilot looking to expand on my managerial and teaching experience. Having worked in a range of positions, from safety to crew supervising, I have a dynamic skillset which will be a great asset in an instructional/managerial role.

In my current position as an aircrew supervisor, my main responsibility is to train and instruct staff and ensure the safety of my crew at all times. This experience has given me a vast repertoire of quality training drills and practices and a thorough understanding of training management plans and assessment.

Combined with my training experience and qualifications, I also have strong management and HR skills. My role as supervisor also means that I am the first point of call for all my crew and this has given me expertise in a range of areas, including recruitment and induction.

My experience as an aviation fire fighter and volunteer fire fighter for Sky Services has also strengthened my communication skills, especially within a high-pressure situation. Working as a fire fighter, clear, calm and precise communication at all times is crucial. My work at Sky Services has also taught me the importance of working closely with a team.

I have a current CASA commercial pilot’s licence as well as a grade 2 Instructor rating. I have a total of 2000 hours of plane experience as well as 320 hours of instructional experience.
