Dear Ms McMahon
Ref: AB843, Arborist position
Please accept this letter and attached resume as application for the Arborist position advertised on the MyCareer website.
I am a qualified and experienced arborist looking for my next challenge and was excited by the position advertised. I’ve always enjoyed working outdoors and have developed a real passion for tree health over the last three years working in this field.
My current role at Greendale Tree Surgeons involves a range of duties managing the treatment of problem trees in private homes and local parks. This involves everything from pruning, using a chainsaw and clean-up, to climbing, pest diagnosis and tree removal. With the ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team, and a focus on safety procedures at all times, I am efficient, productive and always work to the best of my ability to get the job done.
My Certificate II in Arboriculture, HR Licence and Level 2 First Aid certificate ensure I am qualified for this position. I am fit and healthy, and able to work at heights.
I am available for interviews at your convenience and hope to hear from you soon.
Yours sincerely
