Dear Ms Daniels
Re: Massage therapist position, Ref: 333E
I am writing to express my interest in the position of Massage Therapist, as recently advertised on Seek.com.
I am a fully qualified massage therapist registered with the AAMT. For the past two years I have been massaging clients part time while also working part time at a health food store, and over that time I have built up a dedicated group of regular clients. I hold a current first aid certificate, public liability and professional indemnity insurance, and health fund rebate status.
During my course I learned various techniques in remedial, deep tissue and sports massage, as well as some shiatsu techniques, which I incorporate into my massages depending on the needs and preferences of the client. I am particularly adept at deep tissue and sports massage and have a number of athletes as regular clients.
I feel it is time to dedicate myself to full-time massage work as this is where my passion lies. I know from first-hand experience how therapeutic massage can be, on many levels, and I find it deeply rewarding to be able to offer this service to my clients. I am an excellent communicator and empathetic listener, and I uphold the highest standards of discretion and professionalism at all times. My clients are a diverse group, covering a broad range of ages, and include many females.
I would love the opportunity to work in a team environment and to be able to bring my energy and passion to Nirvana Wellness Centre. My resume is attached and I look forward to being able to discuss the position with you further.
Kind Regards
