Dear Ms Mackay
Re: Nanny, Ref: 663D
I am writing to express my interest in the position of Nanny, Ref no. 663D, as advertised on nannyseekers.com.
I have a Certificate III in Children’s Services and extensive experience as a nanny and childminder, starting from my high school days as a part-time babysitter to three professional nanny positions both here in Australia and overseas. I have attached letters of recommendation from all three employers, who have all commended me for my mature, responsible and professional way of caring for their children. One of these positions involved caring for a baby under the age of two.
In addition, my childcaring skills have been honed through years of caring for both immediate and extended family. I have two younger siblings who I have always cared and cooked for, and have minded many young nieces and nephews, including infants – we’re a big family!
I have always loved children and find nothing more rewarding than caring for them. I have excellent communication and organisational skills and I pride myself on creating a positive, happy environment in which children can thrive.
I have recently returned from overseas and am eager to get back to the work I love. I would welcome the opportunity to meet you and your family to discuss the position further and look forward to hearing from you
Kind Regards
