I am writing to express my interest in the position of Naturopath for Phillips Pharmacy, as advertised on Seek.com.

I am a fully qualified naturopath registered with both the ATMS and NHA. I completed my studies at the NSW College of Naturopathy last year, graduating at the top of my class.

I have worked at health food store Vital Health for the last three years, having worked there throughout my naturopathic studies. Since qualifying, I have conducted naturopathic consultations in the store, created individually tailored herbal formulas and treatment programs, and have continued to advise customers on the full range of vitamins and nutritional supplements. The majority of our customers return for follow-up consultations and ongoing advice and supplement purchases.

I have also gained practical clinical experience through 500 clinic hours at the NSW College of Natural Therapies student clinic (a compulsory part of our course). In addition, I have been doing work experience at the clinic of respected naturopath Peter Thompson for the past year in order to deepen my clinical training. I have found this to be invaluable and have learned a lot from the experience.

I have loads of initiative and in the three years that I have been at Vital Health, I have created a new customer membership reward system, initiated a mobile phone notification system to inform customers of our current specials, and helped to increase the sales of nutritional supplements by 200 per cent. I am very familiar with the retail environment and I help to run the shop as well as create marketing displays.

I am passionate about natural therapies and helping people to achieve the best health they possibly can. I spend much of my leisure time keeping up with the latest naturopathic research and reading naturopathic journals, and I regularly attend industry conferences.

Just as important, I am an excellent communicator who loves to collaborate with both colleagues and clients. I enjoy being part of a team, and I would love the opportunity to bring my passion and naturopathic expertise to Phillips Pharmacy.
