Robert Toody
HR Manager
GNR8 ICT
80 Victoria St
Sydney NSW 2000
Dear Mr Toody,
Re: Project Manager position, Ref: HGW34
I am writing to apply for the position of Project Manager, as advertised recently on SEEK.com.au.
Currently employed with Diverge Data, a leading IT services provider based in Sydney, I have extensive experience in the IT industry as well as project management. In my present role as junior project manager, I enjoy the responsibility of helping to lead a small development team and seeing projects through from conception to delivery.
I believe that my strong background in IT consultancy, combined with my extensive experience in planning, executing, monitoring, and closing a variety of projects, makes me ideally suited to this role. I am highly organised and self-motivated, have excellent communication skills, and thrive in high-pressure environments. A solid team player, I work to tight deadlines and have plenty of initiative.
I have a Bachelor of Information Technology as well as the internationally-recognised PMI Project Management Professional qualification, and I am proficient in PM software such as Microsoft Project and Endeavour. I have effectively used these methodologies in my current role for project scheduling, issue tracking and resource management.
My goal is to continue learning and developing my expertise in project management in my future role. I believe that I would be a perfect fit for GNR8 ICT and that this is a role in which I could both grow and play to my strengths.
My resume is attached and I look forward to being able to discuss the position with you further.
Kind regards,
