I am writing to apply for the position of Remedial Massage Therapist at Bright Springs Wellness Centre, as advertised recently on SEEK.com.au.

I am a highly dedicated and qualified remedial massage therapist with extensive experience working in a small massage clinic. For the last three years I have been working at Beachside Bay Massage, developing my skills and building up a regular clientele.

I use a range of techniques in my massages, including effleurage, deep tissue massage, lymphatic drainage, pressure point therapy, shiatsu and oriental therapies for the purposes of relaxation, healing, rehabilitation and sports injury treatment. I also perform passive stretching on clients and teach them stretching techniques that they can employ at home. I am physically fit and strong and accustomed to working long shifts performing back-to-back massages, including evenings and weekends.

During my time at Beachside I have been able to build a strong client base while developing my own strengths and skills as a massage therapist. I am adept at creating rapport with different personality types, and genuinely love my work. I am passionate about helping my clients to achieve health and wellbeing, and providing helpful lifestyle and nutritional advice whenever it is sought or required.

I am fully qualified, with a Diploma of Remedial Massage as well as a Diploma of Shiatsu and Oriental Therapies, and I am a member of the Australian Association of Massage Therapists. I also hold professional indemnity insurance and a current first aid certificate, and I am a registered health fund provider.
