Our client is one of the world's leading manufacturers of household electric products. We are experiencing significant international growth and are looking for experienced Product Design Engineers to lead our ever-expanding industrial design team based in Melbourne.

This is a unique opportunity to develop products for a global technology manufacturer.

With a focus on mechanical design, you will play a key role in delivering finished products to our global market.

Your responsibilities will include:

• client relationship management
• concept design to provide outstanding commercial value to the client
• project management
• 3D CAD in AutoCAD
• design for manufacture
• supplier sourcing and manufacturing implementation
• training and mentoring staff
• some international travel.

We are seeking an outstanding individual with 8+ years relevant industry experience within a consultancy or manufacturing environment and a track record of successfully developing complex products which include both sheet metal and plastic assembling for local and international mass production.
