If caring for and supporting others comes naturally to you, a career in health services could be the perfect fit. The nationally recognised HLT33021 Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance from Insight Training is your gateway into the healthcare field.
Throughout the course you will complete a total of 12 units of competency, including seven core units and five elective units.
Students will also be required to complete a minimum of 120 hours of practical work experience within an Approved Service, giving you the opportunity to test out your skills as well as gain real-world experience required to hit the ground running once you commence employment in the industry.
Upon completion of this course, you will have the skills to assist allied health professionals in various areas, helping to implement treatment plans and therapeutic interventions. You’ll also develop strong communication skills and gain the opportunity to work in sectors like aged and disability support, child welfare, hospitals, and more.
You have a choice of studying this course in-classroom at one of our campuses (in Morley or Joondalup).
Please Note: This course is NOT available to people on a 500 or 600 visa.
There are no entry requirements for this qualification, however it is preferred that students have obtained a minimum of a School Certificate or equivalent.
Students will also be required to provide a current National Police Certificate prior to commencing work.
