How Much Will It Cost?

FEE-HELP

This course can be paid for through the FEE-HELP government loan scheme. If you are an Australian citizen or hold a permanent humanitarian visa, you may not need to pay upfront.

Instead, the Australian government will pay your course fees directly to the provider on your behalf. You’ll begin repaying your loan through the tax system once you start earning more than the minimum threshold of $54,435 (2024-25 financial year).

Over the period of your studies you will undertake eight core subjects and four subjects from one of three specialisations – Acute Care, Chronic and Complex Care, or Critical Care. This course will allow you to offer advanced care and achieve a leading level of evidence-based clinical practice in your chosen field.

Eligibility

To be eligible to study this course, applicants must meet the following entry requirements:

Applicants must have completed a UTS-recognised bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent higher qualification, or submitted other evidence of general and professional qualifications that demonstrates potential to pursue postgraduate studies; AND
Applicants must be currently employed in a healthcare setting and have one year of post-registration clinical experience; AND
Applicants must hold current registration as a nurse in Australia. Students’ current nursing registration will be confirmed via the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. Students should ensure that details of their registration are up-to-date on this register.
