The CHC50421 Diploma of Youth Work offered by Skills Generation is designed for individuals looking to advance their careers in youth services. Please note: A minimum of 200 hours mandatory work experience is required for this qualification. Work experience must be undertaken within a community services workspace. Learners who are in full-time employment in community services may be able to meet the work experience requirements through their current role. Talk to our trainer to review your work role prior to commencing the course to see if your workplace can be used to demonstrate the required competencies and satisfy work placement hours. Learners who are not currently employed in a relevant community services organisation will need to find their own work experience placement with an organisation approved by Skills Generation.
