Keen to get going to see the world? Now you can complete your TESOL training overseas.
Teaching English overseas is a great way to experience the world and expand your world view.
And it’s not difficult to get there – you just need TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) qualifications.
However if your bags are packed and your feet are itching to get going, but you haven’t completed your course yet, Teach International has the answer.
Teach International now offers students the opportunity to complete their TESOL studies in Vietnam, China or Turkey.
You can choose to study, and later work, in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Istanbul or Shanghai. These cities have booming ESL teaching markets with a huge demand for English teachers.
Of course, prior to making any decisions about working or studying overseas, do your research on different countries’ requirements in terms of certificates/qualifications, visas, passports, immunisations, accommodation and culture. Different countries have different requirements for English teachers with TESOL or TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) qualifications.
Research TESOL/TEFL course providers and check their credentials. In Australia they should be an RTO (Registered Training Organisation). Speak to the companies about your options and consult embassies/consulates of the countries in which you are interested in working, if you need more information.
